GALVA, KANSAS 3/2/01
My day started very early when the alarm clock went off at 3am. An hour later
Nancy Trease picked me up and took me to the Wichita airport. I had free tickets
from United Airlines and flew first class to Denver and on to Seattle. That was
a pretty neat experience.
I arrived in Seattle around 1230 and Rebecca Ervey, from the Epilepsy Foundation
of Washington picked me up at the airport, took me to my motel by the Space
Needle, and then took me out to lunch at "Experience Music Project."
Phil Killingbeck, a vol & support group facilitator from Tacoma also joined
us for lunch. After that we all went back to the office where I met the rest of
the crew. They seemed like a great group, and were pretty excited about my
adventure.
In the evening Phil showed me the sights of Seattle. We spent some time at the
Seattle Center, checked out all the shops, rode the monorail around town, and
went to the Space Needle.
