When people turn to genocide
All that's good and pure is tossed aside
And beauty is lost amongst the madness
The spirit dies as the stars begin to fade
Summer turns cold
The chemistry makes me afraid to touch the
sand
And I know I must fear the tide
I can't control this constant beating in my
heart
As the rain burns my skin
I can't control this constant beating in my
mind
And despise the state therein
Where can I go where I'm free to face the sun
Without turning to
stone?
I guess I'll never know
I drift away to a world of long ago
To a time before the rockets red glare
Before the blood was shed upon the trail of
tears
And life was not filled with death and despair
Where can I go where I'm free to face the sun
Without turning to stone?
What can I do when the world is crashing down
And we've got nowhere else to go
I guess I'll never know
All songs and files were
written, composed, performed, and produced by me,
Danny Gali
