Coming back from Oregon on July 4th, 1999 was very interesting. This picture was
right out of Dallas. The plane banked north for just a bit and I got this shot of
the sunset.
    As it got darker I was able to see all the fireworks on the ground below
scattered all over as far as the eye could see. I was glued to the window all the
way to Washington D.C. It was an incredible sight that is just impossible to describe.
Especially passing over what I think was the Mississippi. There were some
spectacular fireworks displays along the banks of the river below.


    Have a great weekend and don't eat eggs that are colored on the
inside. Especially the green ones.
