Okay, this may seem odd but while I was on my motorcycle trip to Texas
last year I was going through Mississippi when I saw a sign that read,
"Lake". I decided that I needed to take a break and exited off the freeway
to go hang out by a lake for a while and cool off.

    After a few miles down a small highway I found a small town called,
"Lake". There was no "lake". I stopped at the local store there in "Lake"
and asked everybody if there was an actual "lake" somewhere. They all
confirmed that there was no "lake" anywhere. Nobody could tell me why the
town was named, "Lake".

    This is a picture of a train station and caboose in Lake.
                Get this; There was no train and there were no tracks
either.
        But for some reason that didn't surprise me.
