I hope everybody had a wonderful Mother's Day and got lots
of gifts from your Mothers.
        (Because, you realize, if it weren't for all us kids out here, they wouldn't
even be mothers)

    Here's a little patch of the Texas State flower, the Bluebonnet. These
things grow wild in fields all over Texas. You can often be driving down a
highway and see solid blankets of them spread over the
landscape. Sometimes you might even see people with their kids in the
flowers taking pictures. Or even an occasional biker in a black leather
jacket.

    Have a great week and call your mother and ask her where that card and
all those gifts are.
