While in North Carolina, I
noticed that many of the homes there had these strange rocks out in front of their house.
Usually
right in the middle of the yard. These rocks were about two and a half feet
tall and were made out of plastic. It seems that many of the homes have the septic that
runs out to the back of the house so the water supply has to come in from the
front. They try to conceal this with these plastic rocks.
How I did it...
I thought it was interesting so I took a
picture of the plastic rock in front of my friend's house and got a little creative with it.
I cut the rock out of the original background
and paste it over a sunset background that I took on the same weekend. I then took several
pictures of myself in various different positions and paste them around on
the rock. Again, notice my lack of adding shadows to the figures.
A friend at work said that I am a little too
much in to myself since all
the people on the rock were me. I told him that it isn't very
easy to find willing
models at 3:00 in the morning to pose in odd positions for
pictures like
these.
