WOW!!!

This was one of the most incredible sunsets I think I have ever seen.
Out in Virginia, with the snow on the ground, spawned an amazing contrast with
the sky.

While driving back home from a day out at the drop zone where I did make
two extremely chilling jumps I kept looking in my rear-view mirror at the
sunset as it went from awesome to just totally breathtaking.
I has taken some pictures earlier with my camera and had some problems.
I guess the cold had caused it to malfunction and it wouldn't work.

I had to pull over and get off of the road to see if I could get it to
work and get a few shots of the sunset.
I pulled off the road and almost got stuck trying to get clear of some
trees that were in my way. I managed to get a few shots till the camera got
cold again and stopped working. I got back on the road and started driving
again.

Again the sky was spewing forth all kinds of colors till I had to stop
again and got a few more shots right there on the side of the road.

Back on the highway again I couldn't help myself. I had to stop again.
This time I almost went off the road when I saw a small, dirt, farm road
where skidded and pulled off. There was too much brush in my way so I
climbed over a fence and ran down a small clearing and past a creek. I ran
up this hill to the top of this wide open field where I got this and a few
more shots until the camera finally gave up.
There the sun looked like some strange beam of light with an explosion
of color around it.
I had to stand there for a moment in awe till it finally dwindled down
to a small glow on the horizon.
