Atmospherical Friday |
This is a sunset from Cedar Island in
North Carolina. Cedar Island is a very small island at the bottom of the Outer Banks. I got
these shots while waiting for a ferry. You can take a ferry North to Okracoke Island
and then another up to Cape Hatteras.
(Fact?)
Okracoke was named after Okra-Cola, a soft
drink back in the seventies
that was made from Okra, a slimy-green vegetable indigenous to
the South.
I guess that it didn't take off too well
because some people didn't
particularly care for the green stains on their lips and teeth
and the
strange after-taste and slight, temporary loss of eyesight.
(Or fiction?)
