* Mimosa Blossom *

    One of my favorite plants is the mimosa. There are many different types
of mimosa plants.
    Some of them even have leaves that move really fast like a Venus Fly
Trap. They grow along the ground like a vine and if you touch the leaves
they will fold up right before your eyes.
    These blossoms here come from a Mimosa tree. They are indigenous to the
southern United States and have an amazing fragrance when they are in full
bloom.
    One thing in particular that comes to mind is that these blossoms look
very much like some of the small trees in several of the Dr. Suess stories.
