* Metallic Bee *

This bee here is what appears to be an Augochlora Green Metallic Bee
sitting on a Common Burdock. Although it didn't exactly match the picture
and information from my reference book, but it was the closest match I could find. I'm sure that if you
research it more extensively you'd find that its not really the same bee.
The description in the book read that the bee had small white hairs on its
hind legs which this bee didn't appear to posses. The bee in this picture
was actually much more brilliant and gold colored than the one in my book.
Also, not to brag, but my picture looks much more impressive than the one in
the book also.
