* Neon Fungus *

    Well I haven't bought the field guide on funguses ( fungi ) so I have no
clue what this stuff was or where it came from. I'm voting "somewhere from
outer space" or something. I know that I've never seen anything like it.
        Oh! Don't worry, I wasn't about to touch it.
    But it did taste like some really weird mushroom. And then that's about
when I started hearing those voices.
            Oh, and then there was the trolls. But that's another story.

    Anyway, this stuff was growing all around the base of a tree up on the
Appalachian trail. It was a real pretty bright neon yellow and orange
color...........
                Wasn't it?
