* Purple-Mountain-Ribbles *
Okay, that's not the real name of these
things. Hey, give me a break, I left my field guide at home and
don't have a clue as to what these are. However, they were pretty
fascinating. On the inside of the flower it looked like it had
little white ribs. I found these high up on the summit of the
Multnomah Falls trail here in Oregon.
