* Crescent Lake *
From the summit of Crescent Mountain, in the
Oregon Cascades, you can look down at Crescent Lake. The first
time I saw this was about 23 years ago. Then it was more of a
deep blue color. There are no roads or trails that lead directly
to this lake. If you want to enjoy it from the shore you must
hike through about 5 miles on the trail and then about another
mile through the woods. I still haven't, yet.
