* Gilkey Bridge *
This is Gilkey Bridge, One of the seven covered bridges in Scio, Oregon. This one was built in 1939 and is still in use today.
When I was younger we use to jump off the bridge and swim in the Thomas Creek below.

I also use to jump off the roof of our own house. People have always asked me why I wanted to jump off of things or out of airplanes.
There are many things in this world that are a constant law that we can never escape from.
Gravity being one of those things, we will never be able to overcome the hold it has upon us.
But maybe, for one brief moment here or there, we can bend the law just a little bit, feel the freedom, and experience life without such boundaries.
