* Contrast *
A few weeks ago I saw this group of crows playing around on the side of the road in the snow. I thought that the contrast was rather interesting. I watched them play for a while as if they were actually enjoying the cold and the snow. They jumped up and down and chased each other around a little while. They would occasionally stick their beaks down and throw up little tufts of snow. I sat and watched for a while longer admiring their happy and lively exuberance.
Then a big truck came along and smashed them all.
(Just kidding. But they really were fun to watch.)
