As I stated yesterday, look a little closer

On this stem, just below the head of the same bull thistle from yesterday, there was an amazing battle taking place right before my eyes. These red ants seemed like monsters as they attacked and devoured the small aphids that were innocently feeding on the bull thistle.
There is so much more to life that we never even notice as we pass through our busy lives. I might have just as easily took the picture of the thistle and went on.
