* Fallen Bird *

Last week I found this little baby bird that had fallen from its nest. Not quite ready to venture out into the world yet, it displayed the ability to fly about twenty feet, which was just about enough distance to put it in the middle of the street. I chased it around the sidewalk for a while and finally caught it. I put it in a nice box where it remained until a special person came and picked it up to take care of it.
