This would be my friend Brian that I met while riding across Newfoundland, Canada. Brian lived in Edmonton and was riding his bicycle across different parts of Canada. Quite an admirable endeavor, it made me feel bad, but at the same time, lucky, that I was on a motorcycle.

This reminded me of the lady that I met earlier while coming across Newfoundland. She was on her last leg to complete her ride all the way across Canada. She was 66 years old. Of course she had the help of her retired husband who followed her in a large RV, but it is still an amazing accomplishment. 

I felt like such a wimp for riding around the country on motorized vehicle.
