* Cabo San Lucas Resort * |
On my first day in Cabo San
Lucas, I drove all around town looking for a way to get to the beach.
After several hours I finally found an area that had been leveled and
cleared away, as if there had been a resort hotel there. There were,
indeed, resorts hotels all along the shore line. This place seemed to
be the only place to access the beach without going through one of the
existing hotels. I later found out that this was the only public
access to the beach. I heard that Mexico has certain laws that are
suppose to allow anybody to access the beaches and nobody can keep
people off of any particular beach. Unfortunately the home owners and
hotels build so strategically that there is almost no way to park near
enough and no way to get around their facility to get to the beaches.
Even in this one access, some of the hotel officials were continually harassing
different people that were trying to use the beach.
I
stopped there and went out on the beach. There was a neat cafe right
on the beach where I got something to eat and enjoy the resort
surroundings.
