On my way back from Alaska I
took a lazy way out, avoided the dreaded weather and the Alaskan
highway, and hopped a ferry for about 1200 miles, all the way from
Haines, Alaska to Washington. The trip took about four days and along
the way there was some breathtaking scenery and wonderful
experiences.
One day, while looking for
some Orcas I looked up to the horizon and saw a piece of a rainbow
hiding behind some clouds at the top of a mountain. It was a very
surreal sight. I shared it with everybody around me and we all stood
there in awe. I still can hear all the "oohs' and "ahhs"
from all the people as the word spread across the deck.
