While I was on my trip this past summer I made it up to Alaska. I had realized that I needed to head south when I saw these huge blocks of ice floating around this small lake.

I was attempting to ride through the Kenai Peninsula when I was pushed back to Anchorage by oncoming rain. I stopped to see the Portage Glaciers. A beautiful location where you can see numerous glaciers, all in a small area.

They all run off into this lake and create an amazing blue hue in the water.
