Today's image came from Newfoundland and probably the longest sunset I have ever had the pleasure to witness. As I rode up the east coast of North America I didn't even take into consideration that the days would be so much longer. I was keeping a careful eye on the sun as it set closer to the horizon and quickly pulled off of the road to capture it as it disappeared beyond the hills. I took picture after picture and waited, and waited. Not only did it seem to take forever but the sun also dropped at an angle, not really setting straight down. This caught me off guard for a few moments until I realized how far north I actually was. I put my camera away and headed down the road where I pulled off several more times and got more shots of this sunset.
