I had left my uncle's house in Tucson a little later in the day than I had expected and was pushing it to make it to the Grand Canyon before sunset. I got there just in time to see this wonder. It doesn't look like much from just a picture but the view from the edge is just more wondrous than words can express. Many people say that it isn't all that impressive but I beg to differ. It may not be all that unless you really open your mind and fully absorb what it is that you are gazing at. Unless you are standing at the edge it is almost inconceivable to imagine how vast this area truly is.
