Here's an aerial shot of our drop zone in Orange, Virginia. I took this picture from a helicopter a while ago. There has been a lot of new construction around the airport this past year and we've had to make a lot of changes to our facility.

But, under canopy, this is always a wonderful sight to see below your feet. For one, it means that your chute opened properly. Two, it means that you are having the best time of your life. And three, it means that, at this angle, you had a good spot and you will most likely land at home, at the drop zone, and not somewhere many miles away in some crazy farmer's field, where there may, or may not be an angry bull. (I'm glad my parachute's not red.)
