* Badlands of South Dakota *

Here's an image taken from the Badlands in South Dakota. Not very far from Rapid City, the Badlands are a strange contrast to the surrounding environment. As I rode from the east, bored by how flat the countryside was, I came across this place. It seemed like the ground just dropped off into this strange, desolate world.
