No collection of "Atmospherical" images would be complete without some shots of the northern lights. Also know as the Aurora Borealis, they have always been some of the most impressive sights I have ever had the fortune of witnessing. This one was from a ferry coming back from Alaska. 

I apologize for the lack of quality of this image. It was about the best I could get under the circumstances. My camera is not capable of very long exposure times, and keeping the camera steady for the duration of the exposure was tough since I was on a ferry at the time.
