A piece of history, the Homestead, is an old hotel that has stood throughout the years as a great place to relax and get away from it all. Nestled in the hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, not far from Covington, VA, it has been the host to thousands of people throughout the years. Even including most of the presidents of this country. With pools and facilities built right on top of natural hot springs, to a nearby ski run, to hiking and horse trails, to wonderful food and accommodations, you can really get spoiled there. But its the historic atmosphere that really put this place into my memories.
