* Thermal Updraft *

This was truly an awesome sight. As I was driving towards El Paso I noticed various storm clouds all around the area. El Paso was shrouded by clouds. The large storm clouds above and then a strange cloud layer blanketing the city, with nothing in between. The cold air, from above, had caused the dust to rise all over from the ground. As I continued to drive towards the city I looked to my left, across the Rio Grande River, and saw this. The rain clouds from above began to drift down towards the ground. But then these small clouds began to rise up from the ground. I watched as they grew higher and higher as if they were trying to meet the clouds above.
