Have no fear. I went exploring yesterday and got more pictures to share. Starting here with this close-up shot of some bright yellow lichen scattered over a rock.

This came from a hiking venture up the Sycamore Canyon trail, in southern Arizona. The trail is a fairly easy 5.3-mile hike through the canyon and ends at the U.S./Mexican border.
