My uncle Carl had written a poem many years ago and shared it with me. It stuck with me all these years and, this year I wanted to do something special with it. So I took the text and placed it over a nice sunset picture that I had taken a few years ago from Cedar Island, in the Cape Hatteras area of the North Carolina coast. I printed it out at 12"x16" and put it in a frame. 

In Pursuit of Contentment

There are many things I must do
And many promises I must keep
In this time I have before I sleep

Were I to dwell on things that others will not do
Or promises they do not keep,
I will lose this precious time I have before I sleep.
