* Man Made Rainbows * |
While on my trip around the country, back in 2002, I became fascinated by the irrigation of the crops in Oregon. As I rode past them I was seeing rainbow after rainbow as the sun was shining across the water, shooting out onto the fields. I stopped and took numerous pictures of these and became even more fascinated when I was able to witness complete circles of rainbows surrounding me as the water sprayed across the road. I only wished that I could have captured those moments with the camera. This image in particular caught my attention as the rainbow seemed to be chasing the stream of water up into the air.
