* Rare Wisconsin Quarter *

Am I lucky, or what?

I'm not sure if any of you have been paying attention to the current events on the new quarters around the country. Well, I haven't been paying much attention myself. But I do occasionally glance at some of the new state quarters that I come across and find them rather interesting.

Well, this past week, while having lunch at a local restaurant I was handed my change after the meal and noticed that they had given me a new Wisconsin quarter. I admired it and stuck it in my pocket and thought no more about it.

Later, after returning to work, and checking my email, I noticed an article on the internet that described some strange discrepancies with the new Wisconsin quarters. Specifically with a strange, small leaf, just under a main husk, on the left side of the head of corn. The article continued to state that the problem had immediately been resolved at the mint in Colorado, but not before some of the flawed quarters had been released to Tucson, Arizona. The article also mentioned that these rare print coins were already selling on eBay from $300-$600 each.

I immediately pulled the quarter out of my pocket and looked at it, and sure enough, I have one.

Now I haven't put mine on eBay yet. But a friend was telling me that he did some reading on the subject and found that some coin collectors were speculating that there were so few of these rare quarters that they could be eventually selling for around $1,000 each.

So, here's my question. What do you all think I should do with mine? Should I put it on eBay now, and sell it for around $300-$600? Or should I wait, hold on to it, and sell it later for much more?
