* Picacho Peak * |
On my way to Eloy from Tucson I pass by the Picacho Peak, right off of the freeway. A 2,000 foot rock formation out in the middle of the desert. But as we have been getting a lot of rain in this area the landscape is filled with green as small brush and plants are popping up all over. As I drove by Picacho these past few weeks I was admiring how green it appeared.
The surrounding grounds have been in the news quite a bit lately as many people are visiting the park to view the plethora of wildflowers that are growing all around the area.
