* Bull Snake * |
While hiking I got this picture of a 4 foot long bull snake that was crossing the trail. It had slithered off the trail and curled up next to a large saguaro cactus, out of the view of my camera. It took me some careful crawling and maneuvering around all the other cacti and thorny vegetation before I could get close enough to get this shot as it was watching my every move. Then I slowly reached out my hand and was able to pet this amazing animal.
