* Black Butte Cabin * |
Well I'm taking us to Oregon for this image. This is from the top of Black Butte, in the Cascade mountains. A good hike to the top gives a great view and vantage point of the whole area and the Cascade mountain range. Slightly separated from the actual mountain range, Black Butte stands all alone. The cabin here is where the forestry workers would stay while they were on the mountain, watching for forest fires from a lookout tower.
