* Yellow Bellied Marmot *

As I was waiting for a tram, at the top of the mountain, I noticed these very large rodents scrambling all around. I was quite surprised as the only rodents I have seen that large were beavers and musk rats. After reading up on them I discovered that they are one of the largest of the rodent family and they live in the higher elevations and mountainous regions and they like to stay warm by sunning themselves on the rocks. Well, all I can say there is that they must not be too bright either. If you don't like the cold, move to where its warmer. Possibly another candidate for Darwinism, we may also see these creatures get put on the endangered species list some day. Right next to the college kid in shorts, t-shirt, and flip-flops.
