* Visuals *

Well, I got some really interesting responses the last time I did this, so I figured I'd do it again and send out another one, just to see what everybody will say.

And again, no, I certainly don't think of myself as any deity or higher being, and I'm definitely not trying to put myself up on any pedestal. But by letting may hair grow out again and with a little effort and a few months of enduring some annoying facial hair, I began working towards a specific look, all in the name of art. I figured I'd take numerous shots with various different poses and angles and work on creating some interesting artwork. At the time I was hoping to find a robe that I could wear and get some full-body shots, but I didn't and just got so extremely tired of my face itching, I had to get rid of it. I really don't know how some of you put up with it.

So I just took a bunch of face and head shots, planning to eventually incorporate them into various different backgrounds and situations in order to create a series of images depicting Jesus Christ in various different settings.

So, for now, all I have come up with is these simple face shots. This one with some contrast and brightness enhancements. Further enhancements can also provide some interesting abstract visuals as well.

This series of head shots were taken a couple of years ago. But I initially got the idea many years prior to that when I was walking through a mall and a very small child came running up, jumped into my arms, hugged and grabbed me and yelled,
"Look momma, it's Jesus!"

Now at that time I was honored and it gave me a very warm feeling. But of course, as the years go by, I dread the thought that a day might come where I will be walking through a mall and a small child will run up to me and yell,
"Look momma, it's Santa Claus!"
