* Arizona Wildfires *

Some 30 miles south of Tucson is the Santa Rita mountains. Recently a lightning strike lit a tree on fire and started a blaze that has now already burned more than 20,000 acres. They are speculating that the only way this fire is going to be extinguished is through the monsoon rains that have not yet kicked into gear this season, which is currently facing up to 110 degree temperatures.

Now, I am still perplexed and have not yet found out the reason that they are currently calling this fire the "Florida Fire", when it is here in Arizona. I, myself, might have called it something like the "Santa Rita Fire". But hey, maybe these people out here got something against Florida. Who knows?
