* Mt. Shasta *

Standing 14,161 feet, Mt. Shasta has always been my favorite mountain in the Cascade mountain range. Probably because of its reasonable isolation from the rest of the mountain range. As it sits more to the south end of the Cascade range it appears to stand all alone and can be seen for at least a hundred miles or so to the south. Mt. Shasta is topped in height only by Mt. Rainier, in Washington which stands at 14,410 feet.

Hey, maybe somebody should set a 250 foot rock on the very top of Mt. Shasta. Just for kicks.
I mean, why not? They dismantled and moved the London Bridge over here.
