* Lunar Spectrum *

This image is of a small cloud, directly under the moon. I had adjusted the contrast and brightness just a bit to enhance the colors and brilliance.

This past Sunday evening provided me with a truly amazing display in the sky. While riding home I had noticed a small cloud, some distance from the full moon. I thought to myself that it would look so cool if it were directly in front of the moon. But as I arrived at my house, and from my new perspective, it had positioned itself directly under the moon, refracting and providing me with an amazing display of colors within the small cloud. Then the cloud grew and eventually engulfed the moon with some incredible visual results. I took numerous images of this event and will post one for this Friday's Atmospherical image.
