I took this image, along with several others while in Oregon back in August of 2001. This is the Salt Creek Falls, off of highway 58, about halfway between Eugene and Hwy 97, on the way to Crater Lake. My friend, Larry and I had stopped there to check it out. It is actually quite a hike down to the bottom and really see it.
While on our trip to Oregon this past August, we stopped again, but just to take a break. After helping a girl with her over-heated vehicle, I asked Larry if he wanted to walk down and see the falls again. He just gave me a discerning look and said, "Are you crazy? That's too far to walk, twice in the same lifetime." We laughed and headed on.
