Okay, somebody needs to identify this thing here. 
While hiking around to see a few waterfalls, naturally I was being constantly distracted by some of the amazing botanical oddities out there. Like this huge flower that didn't look or even feel real.

* Update: Further research has revealed this to be a "Red Torch Ginger".
