* Guava *

While taking a small hike through the woods to a waterfall, I kept getting a whiff of a very sweet smell. After looking around I found where the aroma was coming from. There was small fruit scattered all over the ground and along the trail. They were rather small, about the size of a lemon, oval-shaped and with a very smooth skin, with a pink fruit inside. Several of them were split open. At the time I had no clue what they were, as I had never seen a guava before.

Now, Danny is pretty stupid, so I would recommend that nobody do what Danny does. But I just had to taste them, even without knowing exactly what they were. And I must say that, although the seeds were very hard, they were rather delightful.
So, apparently they were not poisonous. Because, well, I'm still alive.

We did later find out that they were, in fact, guava.
