In reference to yesterday's posting, here's a shot of Sherwood, appreciating the little stuffed lion that I gave to her. You can read a little bit about it in my Great American Adventure. And specifically on this page: http://www.galixy.net/America/FL5.htm

Apparently Sherwood loved her little toy for long after I had left. From what I have been told, she would play with it and toss it up and the air and catch it. But unlike there rest of her toys, that she would normally tear to pieces, she cherished this one. My friends told me that she would carefully place it on her pillow, and when they would try to move it, she would find it and return it to its spot, occasionally checking on it from time to time to make sure it was okay. Animals sometime do the strangest things.
