* Cactus Garden *

When my uncle moved out here to Tucson, some 10 years ago or so, I often joked with him about his cactus garden. Which, being in the desert, pretty much took up his whole property. Then I often cut-up with him when he said took up golf out here. I mean, I imagined very tiny greens, with everything else being sand traps.

But Arizona is a fascinating place. And there is more to my uncle's property than just cactus. And the golf courses do have real grass.

This is actually a view out the back of my uncle's house. Facing south here, the city of Tucson is just over those mountains.
