Well, I finally broke down and got a new digital camera, and since she was the only creature around, Samantha became my first subject.
Of course some of you might think, "Hey, with a new fancy camera, why can't you get the "red-eye" out?" Well, I didn't have that feature turned on, and after I took this shot I actually liked the way the eyes came out.

Now this new camera, a Canon EOS, definitely has a lot more resolution. But don't fear, I'm not going to post those images for the fact that it will take way too long to download, even with high speed internet. So I will still resample and resize the images down to post them on here, just as I have always done.
And also not to fear, this will not have me flooding you all with more pictures than normal. I will maintain my daily images just as usual, and most likely with the same pathetic punctuality as I always have.

But I do hope to be able to take much better quality images and provide better services.
