You know, I always thought it would be cool to live where oranges and other citrus fruits grew. So now I do. But there's something wrong. These orange trees seem to grow all over town and there's even an area of town where an orchard use to be, and there's still lots of various citrus trees there. But the oranges aren't always very good. It seems, even though the climate is sunny all year round, and they can bear fruit several times a year, they are still seasonal. And the fruit that they bear in the off-season is not very good to eat. But it's still nice living in a tropical region, and I do love the climate here. Although I do sometimes miss the Pacific Northwest with all their summer produce. Yumm, I do love the cherries up there.
