* Highway 12, Utah *

People have always asked me what was my favorite place during my trip around the country. Well, I never really had a good answer for them. But I did have quite a few highlights. And one of them would definitely have to be highway 12, through Utah.
Specifically from Bryce Canyon, and up north through Torrey. It was an astonishing drive with incredible scenery. The winding highway leads up along the very top ridge of a narrow pass, through some mysterious rock formations and bluffs and canyons, and up and over a tall mountain range, and back down again into the small town of Torrey.
The view all along that route kept me struggling not to pull over every five minutes to take more pictures. Like this one from the top of the mountains.
