As I was sitting watching my computer's screen saver scroll through the images of the past few months I became enthralled with this one of Lake Crescent. Taking a shot of the reflection of the trees on the other side of the lake, I caught some ripples in the water and thought it was a cool effect and made a neat background for my computer.
Computer tip: Wallpapers or screen savers?
Remember people, a screen saver is not the picture on your computer's desktop. It is a program that is used to change the display when the computer is not in use. It's main purpose is to "save" the screen so that defined lines do not get permanently burned onto your display or monitor.
An image that we choose to put on our computer's desktop is called the background or a wallpaper.
