As I almost always do when I return to Oregon, I drove over to the Silver Falls State Park. just about a 30 minute drive form my sister's house, it's always one of my favorite places to go.
Although during this trip my physical limitations were reminding me that I would not be able to explore quite as much as I would like to. But I did manage to go all the way down and back up the trails of both the North and South Falls, which was quite a feat for a "crip" like me.
This picture was taken from the trail
behind the North Falls. At a total drop of 136 feet, it is just one out of the
ten beautiful waterfalls around this whole park.
